Today, Kay Jay goes on a journey with Shim Sham about their current family situation, and they explore the importance of chosen family. (And the difficult choices we have to make as queer individuals regarding our given family)
Then, they go on a long discussion about whether or not Bragg's still has a Jesus fish on their packaging. They don't. Take that Kay Jay!

Hello there, all you beautiful wonderful you's out there!
Kay Jay and Shim Shim had a little break from recording to gather their thoughts and pick up their lives (and their faces) and are back at it with a little check-in conversation about the dumpster fire we live in.

On the docket today - Queer representation in newer shows (or lack thereof), Shim Sham's time away, a Tarot Card to rally the forces of good, Kay Jay's musical project 'Inner Demons' (Check out the links below for their website!) and then some current events time.
Look, Kay Jay and Shim Sham are progressive, feminist and very pro queer (obviously). And they're here to tell you - the conversation surrounding the 'erasure' of women in culture is not coming from a place of good faith - it's being used to drive a further wedge in social movements. Let's do our best to pool resources, find our overlapping struggles, and join forces, shall we? Not share articles sensationalizing the social movements as evil plots to erase people. None of us win there.

Happy Pride Month!
Kay Jay and Shim Sham are teaming up with their longtime friend Junko to bring you an episode to kick of the season of Pride - SPOOKY STUFF! (As we all know, queers love the spook)
Junko starts off the festivities with the story of Summerwind in the Northwoods of Wisconsin! And Kay Jay brings to life a real ghost story from the late 1800's in the Twin Cities (As well as another story about their experiences with SLEEP PARALYSIS)
